Candidate assessment

We carry out extensive assessment tests and reference checks to assess your candidates

At Bilingue Recrutement we do our best to meet your needs and for this we have the selected candidates take evaluation tests (oral and written) in order to assess their language skills.

Following the tests carried out, we analyze the results of the candidate and can validate their level according to the European framework of reference for languages (CEFRL):

B2 level

B2 corresponds to a level of independent user (advanced or independent level). This means that the candidate has the following abilities:

  • Understand the essential content of concrete or abstract topics in a complex text, including a technical discussion in one’s specialty
  • Communicating with spontaneity and fluency with a native speaker
  • Speak clearly and in detail on a wide range of subjects, express an opinion on a topical issue and explain the advantages and disadvantages of different possibilities

C1 level

C1 corresponds to an experienced user level (autonomous level). This means that the candidate has the following abilities:

  • Understanding long and demanding texts and grasping implicit meanings
  • Express yourself spontaneously and fluently without having to search for words too much
  • Use the language effectively and flexibly in social, professional or academic life
  • Express complex subjects in a clear and well-structured way and demonstrate control of the linguistic tools of organization, articulation and cohesion of speech

C2 level

C2 corresponds to a experienced user level (proficiency level). This means that the candidate has the following abilities:

  • Effortlessly understand almost anything you read or hear
  • Be able to reproduce facts and arguments from various written and oral sources by summarizing them coherently
  • Express oneself spontaneously, very fluently, precisely and distinguish fine shades of meaning in relation to complex subjects

Our tests can be carried out in several languages ​​according to your recruitment needs (English, German, Dutch, Italian, Polish, etc.)

Reference check

The reference check allows our firm to have an in-depth professional opinion on the candidate.

It is also a candidate selection and decision support tool.


It allows the recruiter to obtain information on the professional experiences of candidates through their former employers.
